Award Winning Ways
For 20 years, Okanagan Life readers have voted for their favourites dining spots in Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon and across the Okanagan Valley and in this latest round of categories RauDZ came up with quite a few FIRSTS.
The restaurant was awarded: Best Chef for Chef Brock Bowes; Best Dinner; Best Decor; Best Tapas; Best Appies and Best Poultry (all in the Central region).
As well, RauDZ picked up a second rating for “Best Late Night Bite”; Best Wine Bar (ranked 3rd) and Best Steak (ranked 2nd).
In another heated contest for Kelowna NOW, people voted to give RauDZ quite a few honours.
RauDZ won Gold Medals in the following: “Best of Kelowna”; “Best Place to Take a Date”; “Best Fine Dining”; “Best Local Chef: Rod Butters”; “Best Romantic Dinner”.
The restaurant also picked up a Silver in the “Best Steak” category and a Bronze medal for “Best Seafood”.
It’s nice to be recognized and both Chef Butters and Audrey Surrao are proud of their team and all the talent and hard work that goes into everything they do on a daily basis.
