RauDZ Rocks a 100% Local Wine List

RauDZ Regional Table holds true to its philosophy from day one to “support local, buy local, eat and drink local.,” setting it apart from many restaurants that only include a few local wines along with international selections on their “By the Glass” and “By the Bottle” lists.

Co-owner Audrey Surrao, who holds the level 3 WSET, an internationally recognized wine and spirits certification authority, personally curates the 100% local wine list. Audrey says, “I’m proud to present the best examples from appellations across the Okanagan Valley. By changing the wine list multiple times annually, at RauDZ we’re able to showcase a large sample of the over 200 wineries from the entire length of the valley.”

Such procurement means you can go wine touring during the day sampling and later enjoy a dinner featuring the best local ingredients along with more local wine. In addition to the wine list changing seasonally, you can also look forward to the cocktail list that showcases the best of the season in featured cocktails and signature fruit martinis. Plus, there’s six continuously rotating beer taps highlighting local breweries.

Of course, you can count on the food menus to change seasonally and where else can you find such a talented team working in the kitchen? Included in the culinary line up are a Top Chef Canada and Chopped Canada contestant and a Chopped Canada winner. So sit back and enjoy the spiffy refreshed setting, just recently renovated, where the talented and professional service team can help pair your wine with your dinner or you can simply enjoy your own local favourite.
