Sundays & Mondays are Special at micro
Fall has arrived and our team at micro bar • bites has brought back Liquid Sundays with a twist, Cleavers & Cocktails returns to Sunday nights and now they are serving up Monday Meat & Brew!
Cleavers & Cocktails pits the chef and the bartender from two restaurants against each other to create both a cocktail and two plates that must pair. A fun twist to the battle is that each team will bring secret ingredients to challenge their opposing chef and bartender and both teams MUST use all the ingredients. Those secret ingredients must be selected carefully to hopefully throw their competitor a curve ball while giving themselves an ‘edge’ in the competition.
The judging is live on site with one judge selected randomly from the audience.
For the competition on Sunday, October 23, Chef James Holmes of Craft Corner Kitchen will be battling Chef Chris Braun of micro bar • bites.
During the evening bar snacks/ charcuterie will be available as well as 2 grazing stations with hot and cold food and small desserts. micro will remain open after the event with our $5 happy hour menu and $2 off tap beer.
Tickets are $40 and available on EventBrite or at the restaurant. This event is always a sell-out so get your tickets early.
The team at micro has also brought back Liquid Sundays but with a twist – we call it 5 Plates, 10 Wines!
Chef Chris Braun and Sommelier Wes Hunter have created a wine paired dinner with each course featuring TWO wines: an Okanagan wine and an Old World wine.
It’s a great opportunity to compare our own local wines in a true taste test with wines from the Old World each perfectly paired with the dish.

Liquid Sundays – 5 Plates, 10 Wines has two confirmed dates of Sunday, November 20th and Sunday, December 11th.
On Mondays we‘re launching Meat & Brew! Think prime cuts of meat along with craft beer! In the good weather, the BBQ will be going on the patio but if the weather is uninviting, we’ll be heating up the oven with prime cuts of meat paired with selected craft beer. It’s casual, fun and definitely a place to ‘meat’ up with your friends after the busy weekend or to kick off another week.
